Kasia joined the Children’s Clinical Research Unit as a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in November 2018. She works with the Haemostasis & Thrombosis Clinical Research team led by Consultant Haematologist Dr. Beatrice Nolan at Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin. She oversees and coordinates all aspects of the clinical trial management process from study set-up & conduct, to study close-out. She liaises with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure all trials are conducted in compliance with ICH/GCP regulations, study protocols and site SOPs.

Kasia holds a PhD in Immunology from the School of Immunology and Biochemistry in Trinity College Dublin. Prior to joining the NCRC, she worked as Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in the Transplant Liver Unit in St. Vincent’s University Hospital where she played a pivotal role in driving & coordinating clinical trials & clinical research studies. She also gained extensive experience as a postdoctoral researcher in cancer immunology in the Centre for Colorectal Disease, UCD.

In addition to her research experience in academia/hospitals she worked in biological therapeutics discovery & development for cancer, inflammatory & auto-immune diseases in the Biomedicine Design research group in Pfizer, Ireland.
