Emma joined the NCRC in July 2018 as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Cystic Fibrosis Research team. As part of this role, she supports the National Coordinator and works closely with the CF:INK team in the operational aspects of the set-up, maintenance and close-out of research studies and clinical trials. She is the lead coordinator on the non-interventional research study CFORMS, looking at Lung Clearance Index values in children before and after Orkambi initiation. She holds a Master of Science degree in Translational Oncology from Trinity College Dublin and also a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biology from Maynooth University. She will be starting a PhD in the summer of 2019 through RCSI with Professor Paul McNally working on the CFORMS study.
