Clinical Research Coordinator

Courtney joined the NCRC as a Clinical Research Coordinator in February 2020. She is part of the Cystic Fibrosis Research Team working cross functionally across sponsored paediatric clinical trials and research studies. As part of this role, she supports the National Coordinator and works closely with the CF team in the operational aspects of the set-up, maintenance and close-out of trials and studies.  She is also currently acting as the primary site coordinator for Temple Street Hospital. Courtney holds an Msc. in Biotechnology and Business from University College Dublin’s Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in addition to a Bsc. In Pharmacology from University College Dublin.  Prior to joining the team, she gained clinical research experience at IQVIA in Dublin, where she worked as a Pharmacovigilance Specialist lead across numerous clinical trial projects where she was responsible for multi-study management of safety and compliance operations. Here she gained a vast amount of knowledge as she worked across numerous indications and phases of clinical trial development from start-up to close-out. She also gained extensive knowledge of the regulatory legislation and governance for clinical trials across the EU, US, and Asia.
