The Children’s Clinical Research Unit is located on the grounds of Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) at Crumlin, with offices and facilities in both the hospital and NCRC. Our unit is very much embedded within the hospital, and operates with the support of the key hospital departments such as Paediatric Phlebotomy and the Diagnostic Lab.

The Trial Pharmacy service is based in the CHI at Crumlin Pharmacy and includes temperature controlled and monitored storage space for investigational medicinal products.
This new Exhalyzer D machine introduces a non-invasive method of measuring lung function and is being used to study the lungs of children with Cystic Fibrosis
