Professor Frank Casey (MD, MRCPH, FRCP, BSc, DCH) works as a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist in The Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. His main clinical areas of expertise are in Fetal Diagnosis of Congenital Heart Disease and in the management of Inherited Cardiac Conditions. Professor Casey is the Clinical Lead for The Paediatric Cardiology Service in The Belfast Trust and also the Northern Ireland Clinical Lead for the All Island Paediatric Cardiology Network. He has represented the service in key negotiations with the Dept of Health regarding the future strategy for Paediatric Cardiac surgery and has been centrally involved in developing the All Island Network. He is the Visiting Professor Faculty of Life and Health Sciences, Ulster University and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Child Health, Queen’s University Belfast.
