National Children's Research Centre

Founded in 1965, the Research Centre was the first dedicated research centre on the site of an Irish Hospital, and was visionary in promoting research as a fundamental part of medical care. Rennovated in 2009,  the laboratories occupy approximately 1,100 square meters of research labs together with dedicated offices and reading rooms for the scientists and students.  The laboratories are equipped with state of the art equipment and have a dedicated laboratory manager.

A seminar room with accomodation for up to 50 guests, with integrated projection and video conferencing facilities is also housed in the centre, and this room is available for booking for research and scientific presentations.
