Clinical Research Coordinator in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine

Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified candidates to join a research group in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine. Employed by the National Children’s Research Centre, Crumlin, the successful candidate will be based at the new state-of-the-art research facility in the Graduate Entry Medical School, University of Limerick, and will work closely with the medical staff caring for children at “The Ark” Children’s Ward, University Hospital, Limerick (UHL). They will be responsible for the collection, compilation, documentation and analysis of clinical research data. Additionally, the candidate will assist in the recruitment of patients for clinical trials, as well as collect, process and store clinical samples of interest. The research programme aims to employ cutting edge technology to elucidate the earliest changes in the lungs of children suffering from cystic fibrosis.

Title: Clinical Research Coordinator

Location: University Hospital Limerick (UHL)

Duration: Full-time one-year fixed term, with possibility for renewal

Hours: 35 hours per week

Reporting to: Director of Cystic Fibrosis Research at University Hospital Limerick

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

 All duties will be carried out in accordance with ICH-GCP guidelines and all applicable laws and regulations for the conduct of clinical research.
